Network rewards
API-Verse is designed to incentivize network operators who contribute to the ecosystem by analyzing blocks and providing data. The remuneration for these contributions is based on several factors:
- Stake size: The number of tokens deposited as stake affects potential earnings. Higher deposits offer greater opportunities for generating revenue in API-Verse (APV) tokens.
- Node role: The role of the node within the network—whether as a validator, data provider, or other function—impacts reward levels. Network and node load: The operational load on the network and the specific node plays a significant role in determining rewards.
- Quality parameters: The performance quality and reliability of the node's data and services influence the remuneration.
Bootstrapping the API-Verse ecosystem
Following the development of a stable and upgradable architecture, API-Verse will transition to a phase of distributed community-based nodes. Initial rewards for node operators will be sourced from the staking pool, with allocation planned for up to five years. Reward levels will decrease gradually as the network secures and the volume of staked tokens increases. The reward structure will be adjusted to incentivize additional operator involvement when necessary, with distribution rates adhering to tokenomics guidelines.
Towards Self-Sustainability
The ultimate goal of API-Verse is to achieve full self-sustainability. Users will transact exclusively with APV tokens, which will be distributed to data providers and validators. Rewards will be recalculated with epoch precision, currently set at a 24-hour interval. Key roles within the ecosystem include:
- Delegator
- Data Provider (DP)
- Data Validator (DV) This approach ensures that the API-Verse network remains robust, efficient, and economically sustainable as it evolves.
