How to start

Data Explorer is a tool designed to streamline the process of interacting with smart contracts on various chains. It allows you to load and interact with smart contracts as well as saving and sharing multiple configurations of the contracts in an easy and user friendly way.

Initial view​

This is the initial view of Data Explorer once upon opening the web application. In this place you are able to load both verified and unverified contracts, as well as save and load previously saved contracts, provided you have a wallet connected.

Connecting a wallet​

The first option available for the application is to connect a cryptocurrency wallet. Although this is optional, it will allow you to save loaded contracts in different configurations and will be needed later to interact with some contract methods.

To connect your wallet you will first have to press the “Connect Wallet” button which is positioned in the top right corner of the view. If you previously connected your wallet this will happen automatically. If not - a new window will appear.

Here you can choose your wallet from listed options and learn more about cryptocurrency wallets. After selecting your wallet, a process of authorization will automatically start. Your wallet will be connected to the application after the authorization.

After you connect your wallet, the “Connect Wallet” button will be replaced with the address and state of your wallet. You can click on this address to expand a menu.

This menu will allow you to copy the address of your wallet, view a QR code containing this address, open it on Block Explorer and disconnect it from the application.

Loading a contract​

With Data Explorer you can either load a verified contract or any other contract by providing its ABI. You can also load previously saved contracts and their configurations.

Loading new contracts​

To load a new contract, enter the details of the desired contract. You can then save the contract to skip this step in the future.

Selecting a network​

To load a new contract, first select the network where the contract is located. To do this, press the selection button located under the API-Verse logo.

Once the list of available networks opens, search for and select the network corresponding to the contract you want to load. Data Explorer offers a huge number of both Mainnet and Testnet networks.
